Nunofelting with paper

Just thought you may like having a little peek in my last workshop event! In my new workshop offer “Felt & embroidery” I teach a very intriguent technique: nuno felting with paper. YES, you can mix paper and wool to create awesome paintings. Scroll trough the pictures to see how one of my students made a beautiful dog painting.

Using paper instead of fabrics allows to work out the pattern in a preciser way. It’s also possible to layer paper and fabrics in stunning collages.

The finished fiber painting - paper collage is wet felted and then free motion embroidered. The embroidery allows to outline the nunofelted drawing. It adds details and depth to the design.

Nunofelting with paper and free motion stitching is part of my “Felt and embroidery” and “Mixed Media” class. Check out my calendar for upcoming workshop events.
